This is my first blog post here on GitHub, and setup almost as a way of being a warning.
For some context, I have been writing and posting blog articles to my cybersecurity and tech focused blog over on Hashnode, feel free to check it out if you would like: https://my-cybersec-journey.hashnode.dev/.
Since finishing school though, I had the idea of moving my blog over to GitHub so I can gain some more experience writing code for websites and be able to customize how the website for my blog looks and how I envision it. Hashnode was a great place to start, especially while managing school but it isn’t what I envision long-term.
WARNING: As I learn to move my posts over here and customize the site to my liking, some articles will be missing possible photos or videos due to how the actual backup files of the articles are saved from Hashnode and the process of bringing them over here.
I understand that to some this might be counterproductive in some way, especially since it requires all of these extra steps to get these articles from Hashnode over to here, but I think I’ll enjoy the learning portion and the opportunity for more practice.
This was also just a test blog post and most likely will not stay up here once I’ve figured everything out and am happy with how it looks!
Thank you for your patience and for taking the time to read this post and check out my blog!
